Particulars of the Position:

Lecturing and laboratory work will provide opportunities for experiential learning, multidisciplinary approaches, and collaborative partnerships that support the development of students’ formation in kinesiology. Possible courses include exercise physiology, biomechanics of physical activity, motor control and learning, and exercise prescription for various populations. The candidate will also be given opportunities to develop course(s) within their particular specialization.

Teaching Load:                       Six semester courses per year or equivalent.

Other Duties:                          

In addition to teaching, research and service are obligatory components of this tenure-track position. The successful candidate will serve as academic advisor to students enrolled in the undergraduate kinesiology program and will be expected to function on at least one university committee annually.  In addition, Faculty are encouraged to be involved within their respective discipline’s professional organizations or agencies. They also are encouraged to find their role of service within a local church and their community.
