SUMMARY OF POSITION: Physical Therapist will work under the direction of Orthopedic Surgeons and Team Physicians affiliated with Penn State University Athletics with the opportunity to work alongside a team of seasoned therapists with expertise in vestibular, hand, and spine rehab amongst others. Responsible for evaluating the physical therapy needs of assigned patients, formulating and implementing treatment programs, and for monitoring patient progress in a fast- paced outpatient orthopedic setting. Patient populations to be serve will include community-based referrals to include post-operative patients, acute and chronic orthopedic conditions, and patients with spinal issues. Opportunity exists for candidate to work 4 X 10 hour/ days per week, or 5 X 8 hour /days per week.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in physical therapy from a CAPTE certified program and completion of clinical rotations required.
Must hold a PA license (or eligibility) in physical therapy.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Certificate in Athletic Training preferred
