Providence Specialty Medical Group is seeking a full-time nurse practitioner to join its Neurosurgery team at the Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California. The role involves a mix of outpatient, inpatient and patient liaison/education work at a clinic that sees a large number of patients with a Neurovascular diagnosis. All patients will be seen under the supervision of the Attending Neurosurgeon, and candidates can expect to perform minor procedures such as drain removal, EVD placement, shunt adjustment, lumbar puncture, and suture removal. The team is willing to train candidates on procedures as necessary and there are additional learning opportunities available such as OR/first assist training if desired.
