The Exercise Physiologist develops, supervises, coordinates, and implements patient fitness programs that include exercise or physical activities such as those designed to improve cardiorespiratory function, body composition, muscular strength and endurance, and flexibility.  The Exercise Physiologist monitors and documents the progress of individual patients in the performance of prescribed exercise regimens.  The Exercise Physiologist participates in screening individuals’ medical histories and current health status to identify major health risk factors.  In addition, the Exercise Physiologist supervises stress testing for nuclear cardiac tests as well as other routine stress testing.
