As a part of a diverse community of faculty and staff who represent many faith systems and worldviews, Marian University is seeking an Open Rank Professor of Exercise and Sports Science to promote our Catholic Franciscan Mission and Identity by teaching and directing research projects being conducted by our students. The candidate should have a strong interest in teaching, advising, and mentoring our students. The candidate should be comfortable teaching a broad range of topics within the overall field of exercise and sports science. Within that field, it is expected that the candidate will have a center of expertise in one or more of the following three areas: (1) strength and conditioning, (2) physiology of exercise and/or (3) clinical exercise physiology.
