The College of Health Sciences – Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Missouri (MU) - Columbia is seeking applicants for a full-time, non-tenure track, Assistant/Associate/Full Teaching Professor. The successful applicant will provide leadership to a new undergraduate degree program (Fitness Programming and Management) by creating and offering in-person and online strength and conditioning courses. Appointment will begin as early as Fall Semester, 2024.
Minimum Qualifications:
Academic Doctorate (Ph.D.) by time of appointment
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
Candidates will be evaluated on:
In-person and online teaching experience.
Additional strength/conditioning and exercise related certifications (i.e., NSCA-TSCA, CSCCa – SCCC, ASCM-CPT).
Field experience working as a CSCS.
