WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Physician Assistant to work PRN and meet the growing demand for orthopedic surgery at Orthopedic Specialists Indianapolis. Candidate will collaborate with our orthopedic sports medicine specialist and surgeon.

WHAT WE NEED:

Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of surgical/1st assist orthopedic experience; clinic experience is also preferred. Candidate will have a focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Physician Assistant will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. Provider will need to work collaboratively with physician to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Traditional PRN schedule
• Experience working with Orthopedics is preferred
• Possible outreach
• Average outpatient volume: 20 - 24 patients per day
• Average inpatient volume: 1-2
• Common Diagnoses and Procedures:
  • Fractures (all types)
  • Soft tissue injuries (Ligament, Tendon, etc.)
  • Joint Replacement Surgery
  • Ligament Reconstruction and Repair
  • Joint Pain
  • Joint Injections
• Up-to-date technologies and state-of-the-art surgical equipment
• On-site Equipment:
  • X-ray
