Schedule: Part-time (20 hours/week)
Shift: Clinic operates Monday-Friday from 7AM to 7PM; shift will vary based on clinic's needs

The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth Sports Medicine and Rehab Pediatric Patients
The role you’ll contribute:
When you join our team of over 40 Outpatient Clinics across Central Florida, you will be part of a winning team of experts dedicated to whole-person care to help our patients heal, strengthen and renew. We serve patients Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Polk, Volusia, Flagler and Lake Counties with a dedicated Team of therapists, clinicians and staff willing to carry on AdventHealth’s mission in the communities we serve.
Documents accurately, completely and timely with legible handwriting. Uses measurable and objective terminology following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department/hospital policy and procedures.
Charges patients accurately, timely and legibly according to guidelines of CPT code format, price file, and following insurance guidelines.
Utilizes appropriate approach and communication skills for the population served, which may include: Neonate/Infant (birth < 1), Pediatric (1 < 12 yrs), Adolescent (12 < 18 yrs), Adult (18 < 65 yrs) and Geriatric (65 + yrs).
Identifies the need for patient/caregiver teaching and utilizes each opportunity for teaching on a planned or spontaneous basis. Documents education and understanding as appropriate.
Participates in practice changes as a result of performance improvement activities. Supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
Doctoral degree in Audiology
Current valid State of Florida license as an Audiologist
Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
Preferred qualifications:
Flexibility to help with coverage at AdventHealth Orlando (inpatient), as needed
Previous experience in an outpatient setting is preferred but not required
