Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Health Education intern for the Department of Corporate Health. In this role, the intern will work alongside a team of innovative professionals and contribute to Atlantic's mission of delivering excellent healthcare services to our communities. The intern's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Assist with design, implementation, and evaluation of individual and population-based health promotion strategies to improve lifestyle choices and create a healthy corporate environment
• Create and reviewing health literacy information (such as handouts, PPTs, lectures)
• Work with the Coordinators of Corporate Health to design health and wellness program requirements,
• Provide updates and statistics of programs at regular intervals
• Create and conduct needs assessments of employees to further determine prevention and education program needs
• Assemble, coordinate, and provide support to wellness coalitions
• Perform related duties as assigned

• Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited public or private College/University
• Ideally pursing a degree in Public Health, Nutrition, Exercise Science or a similarly related field
• Be in good academic standing
• US Citizen or permanent resident
• Work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship
• Proficient with, Excel & Microsoft Office Suite
• Canva experiences & video editing experience is a plus
• Strong communication and public speaking service skills
• Attentive to details
• Motivated to grow professionally
