DescriptionThe Athletic Trainer/Physician Extender is responsible for meeting the needs of internal and external WRMC customers and supporting the Ortho department by providing a variety of rehabilitation care services. This position requires innovation and the ability to keep up in a fast paced, changing environment. The athletic trainer/physician extender's primary responsibility will be to enter encounter documentation into the electronic medical record. Additionally, he/she may ultimately assist with clinical duties to increase efficiency, productivity for patient flow and customer satisfaction including working side-by-side and under the direction of the provider to help facilitate referrals, patient education, occasional exercise
