PhD Fellowships
The Neuromuscular Research Laboratory/Warrior Human Performance Research Center (NMRL/WHPRC) in the Department of Sports Medicine and Nutrition in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences has multiple PhD fellowships available with 4 yrs of funding for the Fall 2022 academic year for exceptionally well qualified and motivated candidates with interests in human performance optimization, physiological adaptations to physical training with an emphasis on biomarkers, load monitoring via wearable technology, neurobiology, and injury epidemiology. The successful candidate will work on externally funded studies exploring hormonal, metabolic, biochemical, body composition, muscle, neurobiological, and bone adaptations to exercise training studies and military field studies.
