Responsibilities and program description The Department of Exercise, Sport, and Nutrition Sciences seeks a full-time faculty colleague to teach in the Exercise Science program. Teaching assignments will include freshmen through senior level courses including, but not limited to exercise physiology, exercise testing, basic nutrition, sports nutrition, and kinesiology. May also be asked to teach elective courses in the curriculum and/or within realm of expertise. Qualifications Earned doctorate in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or closely related health sciences or related discipline, required. Strong interest and experience in teaching in the field of nutrition and desire to teach a range of nutrition courses is preferred. ACSM's Exercise Physiologist certification and/or NSCA's CSCS certification highly recommended. Candidates must have a broad knowledge base in the health sciences (fitness across the life span) and commitment to teaching in a liberal arts setting. Previous college teaching experience preferred.
