The Department of Kinesiology at McDaniel College is seeking a full-time, tenure track assistant professor in the areas of sport and exercise psychology, sport commerce and culture, or a related field. The individual hired for this position should expect to teach in both the undergraduate and graduate programs and should have the ability to teach courses in Introduction to Kinesiology, Sport in American Society, Sport and Exercise Psychology, and Writing in Kinesiology, among other kinesiology courses.
The person hired is also expected to contribute to the General Education program at the undergraduate level (First Year Seminar, Honors Program, or related programs). Individuals with a Ph.D. are invited to apply. The individual hired will be an excellent teacher, remain active in their scholarly discipline, advise undergraduates, and serve on campus committees. Faculty interested in periodically teaching in China through our 2-2 partnership with Anhui University are especially welcome to apply.
