Brevard College seeks an enthusiastic teacher to fill a tenure-track faculty position as an Assistant Professor of Exercise Science and Anatomy/Physiology, beginning fall 2019.
Successful candidates must be interested in teaching courses at all levels of the undergraduate curriculum, including introductory courses, service courses, and upper-level courses for the major. A terminal degree such as a PhD from an accredited institution is expected. Teaching responsibilities include, but are not limited to, anatomy and physiology in a 2-semester series, medical terminology, and other courses that support the majors of exercise science, biology, and health science studies. Professional development activities including undergraduate research is also expected.
The starting date for this position is August 2019. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
