William Peace University (WPU) continuously seeks to appoint scholars with expertise in the field of Exercise and Sport Science in the Department of Mathematics and Science.
The successful candidate will teach a part-time credit load during the Spring 2019 semester, which includes one 3-hour lecture, ESS 401 Biomechanics.
This class is currently on the Spring 2019 schedule on MWF from 8:00 am – 8:50 am.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Applicants are expected to have experience teaching this specific course, including experience with and the ability to use instructional technologies to support classroom activities. The Adjunct Instructor position supports the Exercise and Sport Science program and curricula.
• A Master’s degree in Kinesiology or closely related field (including but not limited to Exercise and Sport Science, Exercise Physiology, Physiology, or Rehabilitation Sciences) • Hands-on experience with Exercise and Sport Science Laboratory, specifically the use of biomechanics lab equipment.
• A Doctoral degree in Kinesiology or closely related field (including but not limited to Exercise and Sport Science, Exercise Physiology, Physiology, or Rehabilitation Sciences) • Certification with ACSM
