The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses within the Exercise Physiology and Health Science Studies programs. The candidate will also provide clinical oversight to all aspects of the Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation’s basic and clinical laboratories. Oversight will include: (1) laboratory administration, (2) engage in ongoing research, and (3) support student involvement in learning laboratory techniques
Outstanding scientists are invited to apply for a clinical faculty position in the Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation. We are seeking individuals with a terminal degree in exercise physiology, physiology or a related field. Applicants must have good communication, organizational and critical thinking skills that allow them to coordinate multiple research projects synchronously. Applicants must also have a philosophy that is compatible with the stated mission of the University to be a top-tier institution dedicated to Christian principles and ideals.
Preference will be given to: (1) Candidates with research experience in both basic and clinical exercise science, (2) Candidates with experience in the management of a laboratory or those who have experience with a variety of research methods in basic and/or clinical laboratories, (3) Candidates with the demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the areas of exercise physiology and/or health sciences.
