The Department of Exercise and Sport Science invites applications for a fixed-term faculty position at the Teaching Assistant Professor level to teach and mentor in the areas of anatomy and physiology. We seek applicants who engender a climate that values diversity in all its forms.
Teach human anatomy and physiology courses to undergraduate students majoring in the Department of Exercise and Sport Science
To potentially develop and oversee laboratory sections to accompany undergraduate human anatomy and physiology courses
Perform other responsibilities and duties as may be assigned by the Chair of the department
A completed PhD is required by July 1, 2019, preferably in an area related to Exercise and Sport Science / Kinesiology
Qualification and Experience:
Applicants should demonstrate evidence of the following:
Collegiate-level teaching experience in anatomy and physiology
Preferred experiences using scientific and student-centered teaching practice in anatomy and physiology courses
Demonstrated potential for teaching other courses in Exercise and Sport Science
Preferred experience with collegiate level course development
Experience in teaching large-format undergraduate courses
